PE Woven Dryer Fabric Description
As an important part of the modern papermaking industry, woven polyester dry fabric has a variety of structures and properties. It can be designed into a single-layer, double-layer or two-and-a-half-layer structure to adjust its air permeability.
Woven dryer fabrics are typically woven from round or flat monofilaments. This material selection enables the dryer fabric to adapt to the drying requirements of different grades of paper and different machine speeds. For example, flat yarn dryer fabrics is particularly suitable for use in the front heating box of the drying area because it provides better heat transfer efficiency and uniform paper contact.
Three-layer fabrics are more suitable for paper with a dry weight of less than 70 grams, while four-pitch fabrics are more suitable for papers with a dry weight of more than 70 grams.
