1.5 Layer Forming Fabric Paper Machine Clothing(PMC)

1.5-layer forming fabric, designed with 5-shed weaving and extra yarns, has a structure similar to a double-layer forming fabric, and is mainly used to produce kraft paper grade products such as board paper, lining paper and corrugated paper.

  2. Excellent formation and excellent fiber support.
  3. Excellent drainage capacity and ease of maintenance
  4. Easier to clean, better sheet release and faster drainage than double layer fabrics

1.5 Layer Forming Fabric Description

The 1.5-layer forming fabric is actually a 5-shed single-layer fabric that combines the advantages of single-layer and double-layer fabrics to give it the same performance as a double-layer fabric. It optimizes paper side smoothness, enhances holding power, and has excellent drainage and cleaning properties
The 1.5-layer forming wire is mainly used on packaging paper machines with a machine speed of 50m-400m/min. Compared with the single-layer forming wire, it has higher air permeability and has a longer service life than the single-layer forming wire.
